During this full day workshop, you will make your own beautiful folk art mosaic picture using vintage crockery pieces and glass with various effects.

We will look at some ideas and design your work of art or you can come with an idea and Sarah will help you achieve it.

Sarah will demonstrate how to safely use the tools and equipment, to cut and shape the crockery and glass. Then you can choose your glass and crockery pieces and begin your masterpiece! Sarah will talk you through the mosaicking process of designing, arranging, gluing and grouting.

The courses are held at Glass Quarter Designs, Studio 14 on the site of the Red House Glass Cone, near Stourbridge in the heart of the Glass Quarter. You can spend some time looking around the site, glass blowing demonstrations are held weekend afternoons. There is also a coffee shop on site but tea and coffee will be provided.
